Your tasks and responsibilities

🔹 Contribute to development and oversee the delivery of new projects.
🔹 Provide technical estimations and support planning for new and ongoing initiatives.
🔹 Ensure code quality, architectural consistency, and adherence to development standards.
🔹 Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
🔹 Supervise technical delivery, remove blockers, and guide the team toward effective solutions.
🔹 Assign tasks, manage technical priorities, and oversee workload distribution.
🔹 Drive continuous improvement, internal technical processes, and innovation within the team.
🔹Manage Technical Teams:

• Mentor engineers, provide coaching, and run regular 1:1 feedback sessions.

• Support individual development plans, career growth, and succession planning.

• Handle short-term resource conflicts and team allocation.

• Foster collaboration, transparency, and a strong team culture aligned with company values.

• Manage team balance, availability, and time-off calendars when needed.

• Support recruitment processes, including technical screening and onboarding.

Requirements

✅ Experience in managing technical teams: mentoring engineers, conducting regular 1:1 feedback sessions, supporting individual development plans, career growth, succession planning, task allocation, and managing team priorities and workload.
✅ 6+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails.
✅ Solid experience with Active Record and RSpec.
✅ Experience working on production applications in AWS or Heroku.
✅ Strong background with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL).
✅ Experience writing tests / TDD or a strong culture of testing.
✅ Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
✅ Strong leadership and communication skills.
✅ Experience in technical planning, estimations, and delivery oversight.
✅ Experience supporting recruitment processes (technical screening, onboarding).
✅ Ability to foster collaboration, transparency, and a positive team culture.
✅ Polish and English at B2+ level.

Recruitment Process:

1st Stage: 30-minute video interview with one of our recruitment team members.

2nd Stage: 1-hour technical video interview.

3rd Stage: 1-hour call with our Delivery Manager.
