• Location: Remote or in our Warsaw office

Your tasks and responsibilities

🔹 Contribute to and own scalable web features across the Vue.js frontend and Ruby on Rails backend.

🔹 Modernize the application to improve performance, reliability, accessibility, and overall user experience.

🔹 Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in Vue.js and Ruby on Rails, including creating and maintaining automated tests.

🔹 Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate designs into user-friendly and accessible interfaces.

🔹 Participate in code reviews and help uphold engineering standards, documentation, and observability.

🔹 Support releases by debugging, troubleshooting, and working closely with QA and DevOps in an agile, iterative environment.

Requirements

✅ 4+ years of experience building and shipping production web applications

✅ Strong software engineering fundamentals: testing, code reviews, maintainable design, and clean architecture.

✅ Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, ideally Vue.js (React experience also valuable).

✅ Experience with at least one server-side framework or language (Rails, Django, Express, Spring).

✅ Comfortable working with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

✅ Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows, including pull requests, branching, and collaborative development.

✅ Experience using testing frameworks and applying maintainable design patterns.

✅ Fluent in English and Polish (B2+ level).

✅ Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).

Nice to have

✨ Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch).

✨ Familiarity with Redis for caching and session handling.

✨ TypeScript experience or interest (even though the stack uses JavaScript today).

✨ Ruby on Rails experience beyond the basics.

✨ Experience building SaaS applications.

✨ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

✨ Understanding of immigration law workflows (training provided).

Recruitment Process

1st Stage: 30-minute video interview with one of our recruitment team members.

2nd Stage: 1-hour technical video interview.

3rd Stage: 1-hour video interview with the client.
